Step 1: Assigned as homework 

         Photograph a simple object several times in various angles and viewpoints.

Choose a subject that has the following characteristics:

  • Simple

  • Something non-living that is easily recognizable

  • Viewable first-hand

  • Visually interesting, with a range of different textures, reflections, surfaces and forms

  • Small enough to set up and arrange in the classroom (light, easily moveable)

  • Able to arranged in different ways, creating original compositions so that multiple exciting works can be created.

Step 2: Work to be done in class (and out of class if you wish)

                                        

 Photo edit 4-8 of your photos in photomania with the goal being to emphasize the lines, textures, and shadows created. (The black and white filters may be the best way to go.) Download the edited images as you complete them.

Step 3: After photo editing 4-8 photos in photomania keep all of your photographs in your art ideas slide show.

Step 4: Also, keep copies of all of your photos (2 images per slide and put your name on each slide) in one of the common slides shows below:
