Helpful Remote Learning Art Hints

 

       Hello! This page is to help students and parents manage remote learning for art classes.

​

#1: Students must log into google classroom daily and check the stream and the assignments.

​

#2: Please email me immediately with any questions as they arise.  During office hours I'll email back quickly unless I'm on a zoom call with another student. If the email is sent after office hours I'll have an answer for you the next day.

​

#3: Don't turn things in without attaching the work when the attachment is required.

(Heads up, parents, sometimes students do this so that it looks like they have done the work but really all a teacher sees is a blank page.)

#4: Zooms with me are quick and easy. Worried about your bed head? Stick on a hat, do a quick zoom with me and move onto your assignment.  The zoom links will be posted daily or you can request one throughout the day.

      For all classes except ceramics

      I emailed students the first day we went into remote

​

learning and asked them if they preferred to come and get

 

or would rather do most of the work using a digital format and

​

paper and pencil from their house. 

 

This choice dictates what type of lessons the students are required to do.
