Printmaking

Before starting this project find a resource to draw from using one of these edpuzzle classes as a guide (Join the correct grade level class so that you get credit.):

If you have not created your drawing for your  print please use this button to start the process.  If you have created your design skip this button and go to step #1

Step #1: Draw your printmaking image.  Check in w Mrs. Dennis before continuing onto step 2. 

Step#2: Watch these two edpuzzle:s

Step # 3: Ink pen your design onto your printing plate.

Step #4: Watch this edpuzzle

Step #5: Get with Mrs. Dennis to find areas to carve

Step# 6: Watch this edpuzzle:

Step #7: Pull at least 5 prints using light ink

Step#8: Watch this edpuzzle

Step# 9: Get with Mrs. Dennis to find out where to carve for the second reduction and carve where indicated

Step#8: Watch this edpuzzle

 Step #9: Print your second reduction on top of all of your first reductions.  Use ink darker than the first reduction BUT NOT BLACK.

Step#10: Meet with Mrs. Dennis to discuss where to carve for your final reduction and carve the spaces.

Step#11: Print your final reduction on top of your 1st and 2nd in dark ink (preferably black).

Step#12: Give your prints to Mrs. D to crop and watch this edpuzzle to complete your credit line: 

Step#13: Watch and follow edpuzzles

Step#14: After taping, get your pass signed and hang up your work.
