Step # 1
Step 1 : Choose 3 descriptive texture words. Choose one from each column of the bank
Spiral smooth creased
geometric fluid folded
ribbed drip tiles
bony organic boards
Spiked smoke crystals
sharp slimy ice
blocked buttery scale
bulked frosted furry
Striped ocean fuzzy
patterned melted woven

zig zag bubble sharp
Bumpy velvety crunchy

Step # 2
After completing the edpuzzle, design the tile to create areas that
reflect the chosen words;
In doing so change the tile to produce at least 3 heights.

Step # 3
Make sure the tile has all of the criteria below:
-
The texture should obviously represent the descriptive word
-
1 of the word textures must be represented in at least 3 separate sections of the tile
-
1 of the word textures must be represented in at least 2 separate sections of the tile
-
Your most dynamic word texture must be represented in at least 1dynamic section
-
Sections of the tile but be represented in roughly at least 3 different sizes
-
The outer perimeter of the tile cannot be completely square; Instead it should reflect the shape of the sections within.
-
All choices of texture and form within the artwork must appear intentional

Step # 4
When your first tile is complete create 2 more using the same words and criteria above
These three designed tiles must be made to be displayed together as one tryptic.

* There could be an area on the back of each tile where a wall hanger can be placed
Glaze, acrylic or a combo: Use the same approach to add color or value all three tiles. Make sure your approach follows the below criteria.
-
In least one section glaze must be wiped back to emphasize texture.
-
The same color of glaze must be used to glaze the same texture throughout the piece
-
The approach used must have a color connection among all tiles.
